Carraro Coffee Tradition

Coffee & Cultivation

Pristine lands, select plantations, slow roasting, and over 90 years of expertise come together in the exceptional flavour of Carraro coffee.

For us, coffee is both tradition and innovation. Since 1927, we have been on a quest for quality, combining the culture and craft of master roasters with cutting-edge production technology. The result is coffee that delights the senses, with an aroma that becomes more refined with every harvest.

But for Carraro, quality is more than words. It’s a daily commitment: selecting the best origins, choosing the finest blends, perfecting processing methods, and partnering with the right people. This dedication and constant pursuit of excellence are what make Carraro a leading coffee roasting company today.

We continually test the world’s best seasonal harvests to ensure every cup you enjoy is truly exceptional.

From Plant to Cup

Coffee plants must be carefully monitored and nurtured from the moment they grow. They take three to four years to bear fruit, continuing to produce for another 20 years. Thanks to stable climates, plants flower several times a year, and cherries ripen about six months after flowering. The coexistence of flowers and ripe cherries on the same plant presents challenges during harvest — which is why we only select beans that have reached perfect ripeness to meet our high standards.

Roasting at the Heart of the Process

Roasting is the most delicate step, shaping the flavour of the coffee. Carraro uses fully automatic, flexible roasting machines with slow cycles to ensure optimal aroma development and caramelisation of sugars in each origin. Each coffee origin is roasted separately before blending, highlighting its unique characteristics. Prior to roasting, beans are carefully matured in storage, housed across 45+ silos, to ensure consistency and quality in every cup.
